Holly W

Pole dancing since May 2007, Holly started learning this new style of dance to get into shape and try something different. From the beginning she was hooked! She fell in love with the discipline and started perfecting her skills. Five years later she became a certified instructor with Brass Vixens. With a background in massage therapy, Holly appreciates and understands the physiological and fitness aspect of pole dancing and strives for excellence in her teaching style. Her dance training and performance experience includes belly dance and burlesque. Holly loves teaching her students and being able to support their personal growth.

Shani H

Shani attended her first pole dance class several years ago at Brass Vixens and has been addicted ever since! Having become a certified instructor she now teaches pole and twerkout classes. Shani brings her training and expertise in hip hop, dancehall and afro-style dance to create a unique class experience. She encourages us to embrace our curves, strength and femininity while we tone and build the booty of our dreams in twerk class! Shani also teaches Mindful Meditation to help us remember that it’s what’s inside that makes us beautiful on the outside!

Pastel Supernova

Pastel is an uninhibited artist who uses her femininity as the prime stimulus for everything she creates. Professionally trained in classical dance Pastel choreographed and performed for contemporary dance companies before touring as an international dancer for some of the world's top pop artists. Supernova is a published model, film and television actor and teaches several classes based on developing women's confidence and grace. Her choreographic style is a mix of Graham technique, Latin dances and her own inimitable flavour. In 2012 she founded Love Letters Cabaret, an ensemble of Canada's top dancers and singers quoted to be "Toronto's most exciting, edgy and sexually charged dance theatre company." Pastel has performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, Flare Magazine dubbed her one of Canada's most influential women, she was titled "Best Stage Presence" at Italy's Como Burlesque Festival and is 2015's Alternative People's Choice Awards' Top Burlesque Performer. Watch out for her in Becoming Burlesque the new feature film about a girl whose life is changed by a Toronto burlesque company where she plays the leader & choreographer, both on and off camera.

Lady Kori

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Kori received a multidisciplinary education in the arts including formal training in theatre, Classical and Jazz Ballet, West African, Modern and Contemporary dance.
Seeking a new mentally and physically inspiring challenge, Kori became a student at Brass Vixens and immediately fell in love with pole dancing!  Wanting to share that love and encourage others to discover the joys of the pole, she joined the Brass Vixens family as an administrator and instructor and is now manager of the Yonge Street studio.
Kori believes her years of training and professional performance experience in theatre and dance can inspire students to connect with their inner vixens and give expression to an authentic sensuality in a playful, inclusive and celebratory environment.
Kori is a certified instructor with Brass Vixens and has completed both Pole Fitness Level 1 & 2 certifications from ElevatED training in New York City.
 

Lady Irishka

Irishka’s dance and fitness journey began with rhythmic gymnastics when she was a child. She competed in local and regional divisions until the age of 12 at which time she turned her attention to the study of ballet and folk dance.
She has performed with gymnastics and dance groups on the major stages of the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia from childhood until immigrating with her daughter to Canada in 2009.
Looking for a fitness activity that would combine dance and strength training, she discovered pole dancing in May 2014. With her passion for teaching and fitness she welcomed the opportunity to start instructing pole, aerial and flexibility classes at Brass Vixens.
As a medical professional, Irishka is very keen on physiology and conditioning in her classes. As a dancer she combines the best of pole sport with the art and fluidity of dance.

Ms. Vee

With an extensive background in dance, including ballet, jazz and contemporary, Vee has been pole dancing since 2014 and has been teaching at Brass Vixens since early 2015.
She is passionate and dedicated, continually improving her skills, strength, flow and flexibility. Her love for dance, movement and performance has only grown since combining her knowledge and experience in traditional movement styles with the unique strength and gymnastic-like characteristics pole fitness has to offer.
Her qualifications as an instructor include teaching beginner to intermediate and spin pole classes as well as flexibility and floorwork.

Michymi N

Michymi is a designer and illustrator by trade but has always had a deep love for dance. She started pole dancing on a whim when a friend invited her to a free class in 2014 and she was completely hooked! With a dance background in ballet, jazz and modern dance, she took to it right away after getting bored at the gym! She loves that she can combine fitness and dance into one amazing workout. Inspired to become a teacher at Brass Vixens, Michymi completed her instructor certifications in pole, flexibility and floorwork. She is passionate and dedicated to teaching and empowering her students to embrace their bodies and improve their fitness, flexibility and strength and achieve their sexiness goals. She can't wait to meet you in class!
This class will build on Beginner 1 skills, expanding your dance and spin repertoire and improving your strength and flexibility.
Prerequisite: Must have a "Pink Slip" from Beginner 1 to enter this level!
PoleSHARE may be used in the class.
