Pole Inversions

This class is taught by:

Lady Kori

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Kori received a multidisciplinary education in the arts including formal training in theatre, Classical and Jazz Ballet, West African, Modern and Contemporary dance.
Seeking a new mentally and physically inspiring challenge, Kori became a student at Brass Vixens and immediately fell in love with pole dancing!  Wanting to share that love and encourage others to discover the joys of the pole, she joined the Brass Vixens family as an administrator and instructor and is now manager of the Yonge Street studio.
Kori believes her years of training and professional performance experience in theatre and dance can inspire students to connect with their inner vixens and give expression to an authentic sensuality in a playful, inclusive and celebratory environment.
Kori is a certified instructor with Brass Vixens and has completed both Pole Fitness Level 1 & 2 certifications from ElevatED training in New York City.

Chona R

Chona discovered pole dancing in 2006 and hasn’t looked back! She began instructing at Brass Vixens in 2007 and her love of pole led her to many other avenues of aerial fitness. She is passionate about all things aerial and constantly enhancing her skills by attending various pole camps across North America as well as workshops offered at the Pole Convention and Pole Expo. She is currently the Customer Service Specialist for the Pole Expo that takes place every September in Las Vegas. Along with her pole certifications from Brass Vixens, she has also received her pole dance instructor certificate through Pole Fitness Studio Las Vegas which is aligned with the Pole Fitness Association, her hoop certification from Hoopnotica (2010), a FlyGym aerial fitness certification (2013), ElevATED Pole Fitness Level 1 in NYC (2014), PFIC Lyra and Aerial Yoga Fitness 1 (2015) and in 2016 completed ElevATED Pole Fitness Level 2 in NYC as well as the Brass Vixens certification for teaching Intro to Lyra, Beginner Lyra and Lyra Conditioning.

Lady Irishka

Irishka’s dance and fitness journey began with rhythmic gymnastics when she was a child. She competed in local and regional divisions until the age of 12 at which time she turned her attention to the study of ballet and folk dance.
She has performed with gymnastics and dance groups on the major stages of the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia from childhood until immigrating with her daughter to Canada in 2009.
Looking for a fitness activity that would combine dance and strength training, she discovered pole dancing in May 2014. With her passion for teaching and fitness she welcomed the opportunity to start instructing pole, aerial and flexibility classes at Brass Vixens.
As a medical professional, Irishka is very keen on physiology and conditioning in her classes. As a dancer she combines the best of pole sport with the art and fluidity of dance.

Tia Jax

Tia has formal training in jazz, ballet, tap and acro dance. Her education includes the dance program at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts and the commercial dance program at George Brown College. She was a competitive dancer for 12 years and began teaching her passion to children and older adults when she was 16 years old.
Tia’s journey in pole dance began at Brass Vixens where she has become a certified instructor teaching pole, flexibility, chair, floorwork and choreography classes. Tia developed the Flexy Vixens and Erotic Pole programs at Brass Vixens, teaches pole and flexibility instructor trainings and initiated the studio’s bi-monthly student showcases featuring performance troupes.
As a pole performer she has won 1st place in the amateur division of the 2014 Ontario Pole Fitness Championships, 2nd place in the erotic division in the North American Pole Dance Midwest Competition in Chicago and 1st place in the erotic division of the Great White North Pole Dance Competition in Hamilton. She has travelled to New York City, Los Angeles, Florida and Barcelona to train with various pole stars and plans to continue travelling, performing and competing in pursuit of her pole career.

Di Ana

Diana’s love for pole dancing began several years ago, after she attended her first pole teaser class. Since then, pole dancing has become one of her passions and it has been impossible for her to stay away! Constantly working to improve her skills, she has trained with international pole stars and continues to expand her aerial repertoire, exploring different apparatus such as silks. Through pole dancing, she has gained tremendous strength, flexibility, confidence and an extremely supportive pole family. In addition to pole, Diana also enjoys hot yoga and swimming. Diana has been a pole instructor for over 3 years and having recently joined the Brass Vixens team, teaches pole and flexibility classes at the Vaughan studio. She loves supporting and encouraging students to develop their strength and confidence in reaching their fitness goals.

Lee Sa

Lee Sa has been a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor for over 24 years. She began instructing pole dance over 11 years ago and most recently added lyra to her repertoire. Her passion for dance and fitness as a child has grown into her life long career. Lee Sa has won various fitness competitions including a PSO Dramatic Level 4 Masters in 2013. As a previous studio owner, she has successfully taught many women (and men) the art of pole dance and loves watching her students grow and achieve what they never thought possible. As a board member and master trainer for the Canadian Pole Fitness Association, she is very committed to the pole and aerial community.
