Chona R

Discovered pole dancing in 2006 - quickly fell in love with the pole and hasn’t looked backed. Chona immediately started instructing in 2007 and her love of pole has led her to many other avenues of aerial fitness. She is constantly on the go, enhancing her skills by attending Pole Camp in St. Maarten to workshops at the Pole Convention (West Palm Beach, FL) and Pole Expo (Las Vegas). Along with her certification at Brass Vixens, she also received her Pole Dance Instructor Certificate (PDIC) through Pole Fitness Studio Las Vegas which is aligned with the Pole Fitness Association, Hoop Certificate with Hoopnotica (2010), FlyGym Certification (2013) and recently completed ElevATED Pole Fitness Level 1 certification in NYC (2014).

  • Intro to LYRA NEW
  • Come hang with us! Aerial Hoop (lyra) is a great way to train like the cirque pros while being elegant and graceful like a dancer. In this beginner level class, you will learn tricks, flexibility and beautiful poses on a metal hoop suspended from the ceiling. Aerial Hoop is appropriate for all shapes and sizes.
    Long-sleeve, t-shirt, leggings recommended.

  • InterPole
  • Get ready to defy gravity!
    Improve your spins, perfect climbing and learn more challenging inversions.
     
    Prerequisite: Must be able to do an inverted straddle and be comfortable with all the Pole Inversions curriculum.  Be sure to get permission from your instructor to join this class!

  • Pole Inversions
  • This is our Intro to Pole Inversions class!
    In this class not only will you work on perfecting your spins using both hands, spin combinations and floor work,
    you will also learn the techniques for basic inversions, leg hangs and lifts in this exciting level!
     
    Prerequisite: You must have permission from a Pole Beginner 2 instructor to join this class.

  • FlyVixens Aerial Stretch
  • All levels welcome. Using a combo of pilates, yoga and inversion, this workout will give your body a complete stretch using a hammock/sling suspended from our ceiling. PLEASE WEAR LONG PANTS, A SHIRT WITH SLEEVES AND SOCKS FOR THIS CLASS.

  • FlyVixens Aerial 2
  • Improve on your Beginner Aerial skills.
    You must have permission from your FlyVixen Instructor to enter this level!
    Using a combination of pilates, inversions and yoga, this class gives you a complete body workout with the support of an aerial hammock suspended from our ceiling! Be prepared to fly!
    PLEASE WEAR LONG PANTS, A SHIRT WITH SLEEVES AND SOCKS for this class.
    Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
     

  • FlyVixens Aerial 1
  • Learn the basic skills and techniques for this amazing aerial sport.
    Enjoy fitness and flexiblility training in this 55 minute class!
    For beginners.
    Using a combination of pilates, inversions and yoga, this class gives you a complete body workout with the support of an aerial hammock suspended from our ceiling!
    Be prepared to fly!
    Long sleeves, leggings and socks required.
