Chona discovered pole dancing in 2006 and hasn’t looked back! She began instructing at Brass Vixens in 2007 and her love of pole led her to many other avenues of aerial fitness. She is passionate about all things aerial and constantly enhancing her skills by attending various pole camps across North America as well as workshops offered at the Pole Convention and Pole Expo. She is currently the Customer Service Specialist for the Pole Expo that takes place every September in Las Vegas. Along with her pole certifications from Brass Vixens, she has also received her pole dance instructor certificate through Pole Fitness Studio Las Vegas which is aligned with the Pole Fitness Association, her hoop certification from Hoopnotica (2010), a FlyGym aerial fitness certification (2013), ElevATED Pole Fitness Level 1 in NYC (2014), PFIC Lyra and Aerial Yoga Fitness 1 (2015) and in 2016 completed ElevATED Pole Fitness Level 2 in NYC as well as the Brass Vixens certification for teaching Intro to Lyra, Beginner Lyra and Lyra Conditioning.

Vanessa manages the Brass Vixens Mississauga studio and can also be found teaching pole, flexibility and conditioning classes at our other studio locations. She discovered pole dancing while completing her post secondary education, and has loved it ever since.
With a dance background in Hawaiian Polynesian hula dancing and as a licensed Zumba Instructor, Vanessa shares her passion for dance with youth, older adult and pre/post natal clients. She loves that dance, especially pole dance, is both fun and challenging and hopes that her classes motivate others to adopt a more healthy and active lifestyle.
One fine cold winter morning while walking down Yonge Street I stepped into an alternative universe. In this universe sun was shining and working out was fun! “Gym” was not a smelly, tedious and often intimidating place; people of this world were happy, friendly, encouraging, non-judgmental and they came in all shapes and sizes. Sounds like an alternate universe isn’t it? Well it wasn’t, it was just my intro to Aerial Yoga among many other things, including lyra, silks, yin yoga, Pilates and pole fitness. I dove into the aerial arts like fish to water and have never surfaced since.
In other words, I started Aerial yoga 3 years ago at Brass Vixens, felt I found my calling, became certified instructor and started teaching aerial yoga and flexibility. Come join me won't you?
Lee Sa has been a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor for over 24 years. She began instructing pole dance over 11 years ago and most recently added lyra to her repertoire. Her passion for dance and fitness as a child has grown into her life long career. Lee Sa has won various fitness competitions including a PSO Dramatic Level 4 Masters in 2013. As a previous studio owner, she has successfully taught many women (and men) the art of pole dance and loves watching her students grow and achieve what they never thought possible. As a board member and master trainer for the Canadian Pole Fitness Association, she is very committed to the pole and aerial community. Lee Sa is very excited to be teaching pole, lyra, flexibility and conditioning classes at Brass Vixens.
Irishka’s dance and fitness journey began with rhythmic gymnastics when she was a child. She competed in local and regional divisions until the age of 12 at which time she turned her attention to the study of ballet and folk dance.
She has performed with gymnastics and dance groups on the major stages of the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia from childhood until immigrating with her daughter to Canada in 2009.
Looking for a fitness activity that would combine dance and strength training, she discovered pole dancing in May 2014. With her passion for teaching and fitness she welcomed the opportunity to start instructing pole, aerial and flexibility classes at Brass Vixens.
As a medical professional, Irishka is very keen on physiology and conditioning in her classes. As a dancer she combines the best of pole sport with the art and fluidity of dance.
Azura has been teaching dance and fitness for over 15 years. With a performing background and extensive dance training Azura loves to instil fun into all her workouts. She is YMCA certified for fitness and has travelled the world performing and teaching. Azura is a member of Love Letters Cabaret and is excited to bring her cabaret/ burlesque flair of fitness to Brass Vixens.
Lainey discovered pole dance in 2013 and instantly fell in love with it as an unconventional and fun way to get fit! She is a jack of all trades and has a background in the arts, photography and business. Currently she enjoys being a Vixen advisor, front desk administrator, admin trainer and showcase photographer. She is also Pole Beginner 1 certified with Brass Vixens.
Yana fell in love with pole as an art of fitness back in 2007 upon taking her very first class. She was amazed at the strength she was able to develop and how much it helped empower and build her confidence.
She has been sharing her love of pole dancing with her students since 2008. You can find her teaching pole and fitness classes as well as managing our Vaughan location.
Diana’s love for pole dancing began several years ago, after she attended her first pole teaser class. Since then, pole dancing has become one of her passions and it has been impossible for her to stay away! Constantly working to improve her skills, she has trained with international pole stars and continues to expand her aerial repertoire, exploring different apparatus such as silks. Through pole dancing, she has gained tremendous strength, flexibility, confidence and an extremely supportive pole family. In addition to pole, Diana also enjoys hot yoga and swimming. Diana has been a pole instructor for over 3 years and having recently joined the Brass Vixens team, teaches pole and flexibility classes at the Vaughan studio. She loves supporting and encouraging students to develop their strength and confidence in reaching their fitness goals.
Crystal fell in love with pole dancing when she came across Brass Vixens in 2012. What started off as a simple “change of scenery” from the gym quickly grew to a passion for spins, tricks and strength training. She attributes her learned flexibility to pole classes and took the instructor certification on a personal mission to improve her technique – until she realized that she loves teaching too! Without a background in dance or gymnastics, she believes in “practice makes perfect” and is always happy to share tips with her students on their Vixen journey!
